UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2018/2019 Bent Metal Logic here
The Bent Metal brand reappeared in the 2016/17 season, determined to become as synonymous with quality and innovation as Mervin stablemates Lib Tech and Gnu. So far, so good – we’re definitely pleased to see them sticking around.
“Fast, reliable aluminium buckles get you ready to roll quickly, and the heelcup is sturdy and supportive”

The Bent Metal Logic snowboard binding is the softest model in the range, aimed more at the freestyle rider than the big-mountain charger. A fully urethane highback gives you more leeway when pressing on rails and tweaking out grabs, without ever feeling unsupportive.
Bent Metal’s signature Drive Plate tech is back again, and the one on the Logic contains a soft-flexing biax fibreglass as well as an EVA footbed that absorbs impacts and vibrations. You’ll enjoy more of your board’s natural flex with these, especially when you see how small the binding disc is.
The ankle strap saves weight and increases flex by concentrating support on either side of your foot, while the toe strap is among the most low-profile we’ve ever seen yet still keeps you locked up securely.
Fast, reliable aluminium buckles get you ready to roll quickly, and the heelcup is sturdy and supportive. It all adds up to a cracking binder that park rats should definitely be checking out.
You could opt for the less eye-catching colourway, but we love the Sean Genovese pro model version of the Bent Metal Logic seen here.
